🧺 Ingredients
- 1 lb cooked ground beef or pork
- 1 can mixed vegetables (or 1 cup frozen)
- 1 can diced tomatoes or tomato sauce
- 2–3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt, pepper, and herbs to taste
🔥 Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread cooked meat and vegetables in the bottom of a 2-quart baking dish.
- Pour tomatoes or tomato sauce over the top.
- Gently spread mashed potatoes over everything.
- Finish with a layer of shredded cheese and dot with butter.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
